ArtsAltoona, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, captures the essence of what makes Blair county an extraordinary and innovative place to live, work, and play. Our signature mix of features in news stories includes exclusive previews, behind the scenes glimpses of noteworthy events and evocative stories on Blair County’s visual, performing, and cultural arts community.

We work with connectors and community builders to lead, serve and inspire a more creative region. Culture and creativity are built into everything we do, from the way we envision new opportunities and evaluate outcomes to the way we collaborate across programs and cultivate deep partnerships.

ArtsAltoona has a variety of initiatives benefitting the residents of Blair County, from an After-School Arts Program, to the redevelopment of a decrepit building in downtown Altoona into rentable studios, to our county-wide events calendar. You can be sure that ArtsAltoona continues to promote the Arts in all forms throughout the county!
