Central Pennsylvania Festival for the Arts
The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts (CPFA) brings over 100,000 people to downtown State College and the University Park campus of Penn State each July to celebrate the arts! Come shop at our nationally recognized Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition, and take in performers of international, national, and regional stature on outdoor and indoor stages. You won’t want to miss our giant sand sculpture, the Downtown State College Italian Street Painting Festival, or BookFestPA. We have a full day of children’s activities, a gallery exhibition, and more!
CPFA also produces First Night State College, an arts-centric, family friendly celebration of the new year.
