Project Stream Changes for the 2021 Year
The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) has made changes to the grant process for their Project Stream grants. Starting with the 2020-2021 state fiscal year, the PCA has adjusted the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) Project Stream activity period from September 1st through August 31st to a calendar year (January 1st through December 31st). This adjustment was made in order to better support the PPA Partners by aligning the funding cycle with typical fund distribution from the PCA. This change means that there will be no funding through the Project Stream grant for activities taking place September 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
The annual deadline for Project Stream applications will be October 20th. Panel meetings will take place during the first few weeks of December., and grant recipients will be notified by their PPA Partner as soon as decisions are finalized. Funds will be distributed by the PPA Partners at the beginning of the calendar year, after grant award agreements and final reports for the previous year are received.
The new schedule is as follows:
Project Stream Guidelines Available: Monday, August 31, 2020
Project Stream Online Application Opens: Tuesday, September 8, 2020
Deadline to Submit Application: Tuesday, October 20, 2020
Project Stream Grant Review Panels: Monday, Nov. 30 – Friday, Dec. 18, 2020
