Opportunities in the Arts Event
Did you know there are funding opportunities and various types of support for creative entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations within our region? Join three grant administrators to learn about the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts’ investments throughout the PCA’s Region 13 covering Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, and Jefferson counties.
Talk to current and past grant recipients and find funding opportunities that are right for you.
The event will take place at the Artists Hand Gallery and Espresso Bar (732 Philadelphia St, Indiana, PA 15701) on December 5th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. For more information and to respond that you will attend please contact Melissa at (814) 226-8760 or email: m.fulton@uwclarionco.org.
The three organizations you will learn from are:
- Arts-in-Education (AIE) – ArtsPath at IUP
- The PCA’s Arts in Education Division enables artists to help others explore and develop their creativity and artistic skills in a variety of educational, community and institutional settings.
- Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) – United Way of Clarion County
- Through this partnership, grant funds are used to support a wide variety of community arts activities by not-for-profit organizations and individual artist entrepreneurs.
- Folk & Traditional Arts (FTA) – Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance
- The goals of the Folk and Traditional Arts Partnership are to investigate, document, present, sustain, and promote the folk and traditional art of Pennsylvania in order to celebrate our diverse heritage.
Building stronger communities takes creativity, and relies on the arts. We are grateful for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts for the support for this event! We hope to see you there!
