A new round of grant funding is now available through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) Project Stream. The PPA Program offers opportunities for arts organizations, community-based groups and individual artists to apply for up to $2,500 in funding to support performance activities, exhibitions, and other arts projects that are presented to the public. Grant Workshops for 2014-15 Project Stream Application Scheduled
Attending a grant workshop is a great way to learn the process and to have a “hands-on” session reviewing the application on line. Applicants may attend a workshop in any location regardless of their home county.
Workshops are scheduled as follows:
- Tuesday May 27 – Somerset/Cambria County – from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Arcadia Theater, 1418 Graham Avenue, Windber
- Thursday May 29 – Bedford County – from 11 am – 12:30 pm at the Penn Square Center Building, 127 S. Juliana Street, 2nd floor, Bedford
- Monday June 2 – Indiana County – from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Indiana Free Library, 845 Philadelphia Street, Indiana
- Tuesday June 3 – Armstrong County – from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Ford City Public Library, 1136 4th Avenue, Ford City

Project Stream guidelines and grant applications are available online on the PA Council on the Arts website at ppa.eGrant.net. Applications must be submitted electronically through the eGrant system on or before Friday, June 20, 2014.
